Varghund is Torsten Bloodhand's longship, a sleek 30-oar warship built from Norwegian pine and oak. The ship is 78 feet long, can hold 60 men in raids but usually carries crew of 35. The ship has survived countless raids, three major storms, and one fire. Crew considers it lucky. Ragnvald insists on daily maintenance, claims the ship has a soul and will abandon them if neglected.
